24

I am not sure if you watch 24 but in my family it is a big part of how we stay connected. Each season we follow Counter Terrorist Agent Jack Bauer through his worst day ever, an hour at a time, wondering if the situation can get any worse than it currently is, which inevitably it can and does. We have learned a lot from watching Jack. We know that every conversation you have and every car ride you take will be monitored. We know that if you live in LA you should move. We also know that no matter how long you have been on the show or how much we (or Jack) have come to care about you; you are not safe from a death by terrorists.

We started watching 24 after Season 2 had already started and the DVD for Season 1 had just hit Blockbuster. We rented the first 4 hours over Christmas thinking that we could start slowly to see if we even liked the show. Wrong. Late that same night we called all the local Blockbusters searching for one that had the next 5 DVDs so we wouldn't have to wait one extra second before viewing the next hour. We finished Season 1 in 3 days and had to wait a whole year to see where the story would take us next. We watched Seasons 2 and 3 on DVD and finally caught up with Season 4 when it moved to a non-stop half year schedule.

From our perspective, Season 5 has proved to be the worst day for Jack yet. But Kieffer Sutherland has just signed on for 3 more years at CTU and we know he will have more bad days.

By "we" do you mean your family? It's funny cause it sounds like you are like in a 24 cult or something. Which you very well may be in, but by using "we" you sound like connected to every other 24 watcher. :)

I have now spent 2 days playing that retail alphabet game you posted in the links section!!!!

Everything that has a logo is inspected...which is sooo not a good idea while driving!
